Where it started
We started in Kigali because we were tired of hunting through outdated travel blogs to find a decent guesthouse or a good spot for lunch. Rwanda deserved better than that.
The first version was just a list of hotels and restaurants in the capital. Then requests came in. Can you add gorilla trekking? What about Lake Kivu? Nyungwe? It grew organically because the need was real.
Today, Zoea covers the whole country, and tens of thousands of people use it every month to plan, book, and explore Rwanda.
What we're trying to do
Make it easy to discover Rwanda. That's it.
Not easy in a watered-down, tourist-package kind of way. Easy in the way where you can find a hidden waterfall trail, book a family-run lodge on Lake Kivu, or catch an event in Kigali this weekend. All without opening five different tabs.
