Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of the Zoea platform, including our website and mobile apps (the "Service"), run by Zoea Africa Ltd, a company registered in Rwanda ("Zoea", "we", "us").
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Your account
You need to be at least 18 to create an account and make bookings. Please give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, let us know at [email protected] right away.
Don't use the Service for anything illegal, to harass other users, or to post false information.
2. Bookings and payments
When you book through Zoea, your contract is with the hotel, restaurant, or tour operator you're booking with ("Partner"), not with us. We're the platform in the middle.
Prices are shown in USD or RWF and include applicable taxes unless noted otherwise. You pay at the time of booking. Refunds follow the Partner's cancellation policy, which is shown on the listing before you confirm.
3. Reviews and content you post
When you write a review or upload photos, you give Zoea a licence to use, show, and share that content as part of the Service. You keep ownership of it.
By posting, you confirm that it's yours to post, it's not defamatory, and it doesn't break any laws.
We can remove content that breaks these Terms or our guidelines, without notice.
4. Intellectual property
Everything on the Service (text, design, logos, software) belongs to Zoea or its licensors. Please don't copy or redistribute it without written permission from us.
5. Liability
The Service is provided as-is. We don't guarantee that every listing is perfectly accurate or always available. Zoea is not liable for any losses arising from bookings you make through the platform, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Changes to these Terms
We'll update these Terms when we need to. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you by email or with a notice on the Service. Continuing to use Zoea after that means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Rwandan law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Rwandan courts.
